Student competition
Best Student Presentation Award
The award for The Best Student Presentation is given at each conference.
The first award was made in 1997 at the 8th Annual TIES Conference in Innsbruck, Austria.
To be eligible the paper must represent work accomplished as a student and be presented at the
TIES 2010 conference by the student.The paper may have co-authors, but the student should be the principal
author.
You must indicate your intention to enter the competition when submitting your
abstract through the on-line abstract submission.The abstract must be submitted by the final deadline
for submission of abstracts,
April 05, 2010. Students cannot sign up for the competition after the
deadline for abstract submission.
Papers will be judged during the conference and the winner announced before the end of the TIES 2010 conference.
A letter confirming student status may be submitted with an email sent by the student's supervisor
to the chair of the conference (
ev.bsu.amsec@ovarbl) with the following information:
- Supervisor's name and email
- Expected date of thesis submission
- Presentation title (if applicable)
